WILBRAHAM, Mass. – A Massachusetts police officer was shot and injured early Sunday morning during a tense standoff and shootout with a barricaded suspect in Wilbraham. The officer, who has not yet been identified, is listed in stable condition at the hospital.
The incident unfolded around 8:40 p.m. Saturday when police responded to a domestic incident at a home on [Street Name]. Upon arrival, officers encountered a barricaded suspect who opened fire, striking one officer.
